Terms of Use
Last updated: November 8, 2026
By using Badge & Brick you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. The app is made by Adam Draisen ("we").
1. Training and health information, not medical advice
Badge & Brick is a training log and planning tool. Its programs, recovery score, readiness suggestions, early-signs notices, research summaries and other content are general fitness information. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or treatment, and the app is not a medical device. Never ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the app. If you feel unwell, talk to a doctor. In an emergency, call 911.
2. Check with your doctor first
Talk to a doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a heart, blood pressure, joint or other health condition, are pregnant, are returning from injury, or haven't trained in a while.
3. Assumption of risk
Exercise carries a risk of injury, and in rare cases serious injury or death. You choose your exercises, weights and effort, and you are responsible for training within your limits, warming up, using proper form and safe equipment, and having a spotter when needed. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. To the fullest extent the law allows, you accept these risks.
4. Readings from Apple Health and Apple Watch
Recovery and readiness features rely on readings from Apple Health and Apple Watch, which can be missing or inaccurate. The app's suggestions are estimates. Use your own judgment about how you feel.
5. Your account and your information
You are responsible for the information you enter and for keeping your device secure. How the app handles information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
The app's software, design, text, programs and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal training. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them. Exercise demo links lead to third-party sites, such as YouTube, that we don't control.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from following its suggestions. If we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.
9. Purchases
If the app offers paid features, purchases and subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple under Apple's terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
11. Changes and ending use
We may update the app and these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
